ive replaced all the speakers on my '02. the door panels are connected via small plastic pegs that hold it in place on the door. There is a screw located in the middle of the door handle, which needs to come out. If you pull up the rubber lining on the arm rest, youll see two screws there as well. To remove the instrument cluster on the arm rest you will need a flat head screw driver. There is a small gap or indentation on the panel where the actual buttons are located. Pry this panel up and disconnect the harnesses to finish the removal of the door panel. From there youll see the speaker with prob. four screws holding it in. For my car i had to cut and splice the stock wires (they were connected to the stock speakers with a sort of "boot") to the aftermarket speakers.

Another thing to keep in mind is the depth of the new speakers. The new ones i had were too deep and the window scraped against them when i lowered them all the way. This is a bad way to find out, so make sure you check your depth before you try this. I fixed it with a few spacers.
