Ok i was just lookin on ebay at all the modded civics and i came across an motor from honda, that i believe is in the rsx-s 200hp, and unlike other hondas, the transmition is in the same location as the neons, the intake is in the same location and so is the exhaust, now what would u guys think of a swap, if i were to get the motor mounts, would it be possible to put in, wild idea but maybe. lol here is a link where u can look at the engine, differ views

and i know most of you guys are like, just put the 2.4l turbo engine in it, well that is only a 5 speed, and it is only like 230 hp with the turbo, and this motor is 200hp without one, so it would be worth the difference.

Get the dimentions to see if it fit. Also make sure you are not looking at the reverce picture because I understand that hondas and acuras have the intake in the back. I'll say everything is posible!!!(if you have money, go for it)

I wouldn't do it I love mopar...(and all american muscle) :ylsuper:

if you find out it can fit, i'd say do it. just to be the one guy that has a vtec in a dodge.

not that i'm a fan of vtecs, but just being THAT unique would be worth it.

With time and alot of money you can make it work. It will fit in the neon engine bay, but you will need quite a bit of custom work. Swapping in a engine is more than just dropping it in, you have to keep in mind the PCM, sensors, wiring, and more. If you got the money, time, and fab work capability, I 'd love to see you try it and if you even lived close I would help :p
