front end whining

I have a 1999 Grand Cherokee, just recently spent $1000.00 on a differential rebuild, but also have a whining noisse from the front end. Wheel bearings maybe? The whining corresponds to the vehicle tire speed. I just keep spending $$$ on this vehicle. Any ideas?
