How many more miles will my 01' Cavy go? Currently 127,000
I'v really enjoyed my cavy. I currently have 127,000 miles on it. I drive approx 110 miles a day, five days a week every week. Please let me know how much further I can go. Let me know what major repairs I might encounter in the next months. Or what should I replace so I don't end up on the side of the road.
Thanks,

If it is a manual I would look out for master cylinder on hydraulic clutch fluid. If this goes out you will still be able to drive, just shifting will be a bitch, don't put it off to get it fixed. I would also say look out for your standard crap, build up, maybe a sensor failing. In any case this is a pretty vague question, anything can happen anywhere under any condition, so, look out for the ground splitting.

Re: How many more miles will my 01' Cavy go? Currently 127,000
I saw an early 1990s Cavalier in the junkyard with well over 300,000 miles on it. Keep your oil changed every 3-5,000 miles, change the tranny fluid every 25-30,000 miles, flush radiator every 2-3 years. I got over 150,000 miles on my last Cavalier (1993) and it still ran well when I got rid of it. Kinda wish I would have kept it. These are very reliable cars with correct maintenance.

why are you replacing the trans fluid every 30 thousand miles? more like double that, i have a 1991 with 201,000 miles and i flushed the radiator less than 1,000 miles ago along with trans fluid and as far as i can tell by how dark it was it was never changed and i have had only 2 major problems with this car motor mounts and water pump, and i got this car with 130,000 miles for 5$ and drove it cross country il to nv, problems dont really happen till they happen by what how much you drive be ware for thermostat radiator water pump
