I have a 1985 Honda CRX and am having a problem with the alternator not charging the battery up and am wondering what I can do to fix this? The altenator has been tested and they said that it was good but when it is hooked up in the car it only shows 1.6-2.0 volts coming out of the alternator on the wirer that runs to the main fuse box and at the top of the alternator. A new wirer has been run to the main fuse box but it didn't change anything with the voltage and there don't seem to be any fuses that are blown that has been seen. What else can be checked, or simply what will fix it?
