IHF1000 installation

Hi all. I own a 2003 Z71 Tahoe.

Do alot of driving and talking on the phone. Tired of the earbuds, bluetooth headsets and cheap bluetooth speaker...i bought what the Motorola group is calling their best car kit...bluetoon enabled.

The description that Motorola gives, is that it can be wired into the radio to auto-mute on an incoming call...and also push the audio through the speaker system (ala On-Star).

There are 6 wires...Hot, ground and ignition (I know what to do with those). The other 3 are to go to the Mute, the Line Audio +, and the Line Audio -.

Now the tricky part...does anyone know what color the Mute, and 2 line audios might be? I have searched high and low and inquired at the local Chevy dealer about a wiring schematic for the radio...but can't find a detailed description anywhere.

I have the Bose-6 CD factory system.

Just hoping that someone might have the schematic for all the radio inputs.and can either email me a pdf of it...or just tell me what colors might do the trick.

They did include a small 5amp speaker, if it can't be wired into the radio...but have to believe that if they are doing it with the On-Star system...I should be able to do it with this too. Plus the speaker mount would be horrible. (too hard to hide the thing...)

Anyway...I appreciate any advise, insight and knowledge you all might be able to share. I'm too much of a do-it-myself'er to take it in and pay a professional...but that what it might come down too.

Thanks for your time.
best rgds,
pfs
