2006 Impala
I was at the Wisconsin State fair on Monday and had a chance to see the new Impala. They had the LTZ version. I know most of you don't like how the new one looks, but it does look better in person, especially the head lights. The interior seems to be nicer, and a little more intact than previous models. It's a very nice car.

Re: 2006 Impala
It's not really a car show, but there is a small chevy display in the expo center with some of their 2006 cars. It's in one of the corners of the building. I believe it will be there the whole time, although by brother said the Impala wasn't there when he went to the fair last week. I got the impression from the chevy guy that they just got the Impalas in on Monday.
Enjoy!

You know something, why don't you shut your worthless fucking mouth. You are so fucking annoying everytime someone says something bad about the impalas. Impalas are nothing more then a piece of shit, they are cheaply made, they fall apart, and constantly breaking. If you don't like his "opinion" then thats your problem. Quite bashing people everytime they says something negative about them. The 2006 impala is ugly and i agree along with the next person. SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH AND QUITE GIVING PEOPLE SUCH A HARD TIME :LOSER:

your so badass now, arent you?
this forum wasnt ment to bash the car, it was ment to talk about the car, and get help if you have a problem.
If you want to bash it, then go somewhere else where no one gives a fuck.
I really hate other cars, but you dont see me going around bashing them.
If impalas are a POS, then why dont you get rid of yours, and leave the impala section of the forums?

Impala Spotlight: It puts the exhilaration back into driving — the premium Chevy Impala. And Impala delivers more room inside than any Accord or Camry. With all these features, it’s no wonder more than 1 million Impala models have been sold since 1999.(5)

I like my 2003 Impala. I had to put $450 into getting the "Passlock" fixed, but I am still a happy camper. My only gripe is I wish GM would stop putting all the exta electronic garbage in and just make an honest dependable car.
I quess the hi-IQ's who design these things need something to keep them amused though.

Kind of hard to tell how the front looks with the hood up, but does not look all that bad. I sure like the new rear better than my 05s bullseye brake lites.

Re: 2006 Impala
If they had a way to give the Impala rear tail-lights like the new Cobalt SS and such... well I just think that'd help the car not look so, blandish. I like all Impala's, but I do find this one looking more bland than it should be. After all, this is Chevy's Flagship 'sedan'. At least leave options open for more agressive styling with the SS model like they did with the Cobalt. Regular ones look quite bland, but the SS has more of a 'kick' to its looks.

Re: 2006 Impala
it does appear kinda bland, but these are the only shots i've seen...looks kinda dull, malibu-ish...ugh.
as for the argueing...everyone has the right to say their piece, both positive and negative...it's how a 3rd person gets an objective point of view on a forum's subject matter. What could would it do for a prospective impala buyer, who is seeking input from the internet, to read all good or bad insight from others. Negative experiences shouldn't be covered up. I am lucky, no problems w/ my impala, love it to death, but others are not as lucky, and I sympathize. I understand their frustration, and complaints. I haven't been able to find any direction, anywhere on this site, that all comments made about the subject cars has to be positive, or that it is a "fan" site. This is a real-world forum, where people can talk, and ask questions about their cars. There shouldn't be any limit to what they say, and others should not be taking a gripe about a car as a personnal attack, just b/c they own the same model. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, afterall (and it seems most of this site's users are from the U.S.) it IS the American way, and why people like myself and friends are fighting and dying, is it not? ...Just my thoughts, anyway.
