Water in spark plug bay.

Did anyone here experience any flooding in their spark plug bay ( the area between the black service plate and the spark plugs.)? (I think this pertains to all Mk1 gen. owners.) And if you did, was the damage minimal to none, or to the fullest. If you currently have this problem, PM me and I will give you the simpelest way to solve it (minimal to none damage only). Please add any info regarding how bad the damage is.

Re: Water in spark plug bay.

because of the shape of the plug valley liquids can get trapped in there... I've had both oil and water (from when I washed the oil out) in there and it doesn't hurt anything, water will probably evaporate but you can use compressed air to blow it out or stick rags in there to soak it up.
