Thumbs down 92 camaro still won't run

ok i have done it all now, as i said in the last thread. i changed out the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel relay and now the ecm. i still have the problem to where it will start and idaol for a few minutes, maybe 20 then stall, or if i am driving it for a few minutes, it stalls out to. someone said that it may be the ignition module but my car has a coil, and it is getting plenty of fire. gas is making it to the TBI, but it seems that injectors are not working, could this be the problem.

Take your throttle body off and have it rebuilt, tuned and re-sealed, it will run all the better for you.

New ones are too expensive unless you have TPI and not TBI.

Re: 92 camaro still won't run

Any seemingly isloated problem affects everything else.
Try some injector cleaner.
You might mant to take out the ones you now are bearly spitting out any gas and let some diluted injector cleaner soak in them for a while, then plug them back in and check to see if they are spraying any better... if yes, then add injector cleaner to your fuel and drive on that and see if your problem does away

Being a newb doesnt matter, If you think you know the problem then you post your opinion, maybe you're right, maybe not...eather way, it marks another posibility of the list..

Re: 92 camaro still won't run

How is your oil gauge? Sometime if the oil pressure sending unit is acting up, it will disable the injectors. The reason being, that if you was to run out of oil your car will cut off to prevent engine lock-up. Probable not, but just another thought to throw around.
