92 rs limited slip?

i was coming out of my gravel driveway 2day gave it a little gas and spun the tires. i was like wtf i thought that the rs's had open rear ends. so i jacked it up and spun the back tire and sure enough the other was spinning the opposite direction. i thought that i saw a thread way back that said that all the rs third gens have open rear ends, anyone know for sure?

Re: 92 rs limited slip?

I have an open rear end.. and when I spin the tire, the other one goes in the opposite direction as well. It's supposed to do that. Even does that on my friends '00 T/A with posi. Easiest and most fun way to tell what you've got, is to do a burn out. If you leave one mark with your rear passenger side tire, then you have an open rearend.
