hey how do people convert their doors on their civic to open vertically like on a lamborghini?

ive seen those delorean doors on a supra, looked sick. but lambo style doors here in NY cost $1000-$1500 per door just for the conversion, then you gotta add in the cost of hydros and shit to hold the door up.

He wants door like the DeLorean, wouldnt that be a pain to park and not hit your door on the car next to you trying to get out. I would get lambo doors, you can always get out without hitting something. Both of the doors are cool though.

the delorean doors opened in such a way that they didnt intefere with cars parked next to them.

The Delorean only needs 14" to open (I miss those doors). They only need such little space because the doors are actually hinged in the middle of the roof. So converting to the gull-wing doors would be a serious pain in the ass.

Here's my old Delorean with the doors up, just to give you an idea.

THERE IS A COMPANY THAT IS MAKING LAMBO STYLE DOOR CONVERSION KITS FOR SOME CARS.
