Wipers come on by themselves...

Anybody have any suggestions to fix the wipers making one sweep when you start the engine, or one sweep when you turn the radio on?
Also, there must be a short or bad ground someplace as the gauge on the dash show "voltage" spikes when the brakes are on or the turn signal is flashing or you turn the heater on. I already replaced the battery, alternator and did the wipermotor circuit board upgrade.
Although the volt meter shows a low voltage.....the actual voltage at the battery is just fine.
HELP.......

PS this is a 1994 2500 4x4 pick up

Answered my own question.....found a bad body ground from the battery to the body. Seems to fix voltage meter and other gauge voltage spikes and also the wipers coming on by themselves.....

Thanks anyways. Maybe somebody else has had this same problem, now you know the fix.

Check the ground wire from the battery post to the body. There are two cables from the negative side of the battery, one to the engine block, the other to the body. (inner right front fender). Clean the ground wire connection to the body.
