Fiberglass=Cheap
Urethane=Expensive

Urethane is a lot tougher than fiberglass and I would highly recomend that if you have the money.

Yeah thats true, however most of the good looking kits arent made in urethane, oh yeah, when it comes to painting them its also tougher then a fiberglass one.

i just got a fiberglass body kit, and the guy at the body shop who is putting it on said urethane is definitely a lot better quality, but either one does the job, as long as you don't hit anything (especially with the fiberglass)

Paint holds better to fiberglass and it's also repairable. So if you plan on beating the shit out of it, or just bad roads around where you live, I'd suggest the fiberglass. That way you'll be able to repair it if you hit something or whatever, and road debris won't chip the hell out of it.

plan on cracking the shit out of a fiberglass frontend if your car is lowered. urethane at least has some pliability and give when it comes to fitting and impact

Talking URETHANE ALL THE WAY!!

Definitely go with urethane. It may be harder to paint, but if you bump something, it will bend, not shatter. Now your PAINT will crack, flake off, and need to be redone, but it's much better than having a fiberglass bumper that will crack and eventually fall apart if a pebble flies up and hits it from the road.
Also, the consensus is correct in stating that urethane is more expensive. This is because you won't have to REPLACE it anytime soon, whereas you may find an entire fiberglass bodykit for around $400, but end up replacing it in a year or less. :grey:
