'97 Z-71 headlight lens yellowing

The headlight lens covers are yellowing on my P/U. Is there a method for removing this yellowing or do I need to replace the covers? Can I purchase aftermarket "blue light" units for my 1997 Z-71 headlights, and is there any advantage to these type of lights?
