Question Is there a difference?

(Sorry about all the air conditioning quesions)

If you run the air conditioner, will the amount of gas you burn stay the vary depending on if you have it on BI/AC, NORM/AC or MAX/AC?

I've heard some people say it burns more gas to have it on max/AC, and others sayyou burn the same amount of gas regardless and you might as well have it on MAX...

No diiference in mileage; MAX air simply recirculates the inside cabin air which allows it to cool the vehicle more quickly; NORMAL air cools incoming outside air and blows through the top vents only; BILEVEL just puts cooler air through the bottom vents and a bit warmer air up top. Anytime the AC compressor is on, including DEFOG\DEFROST, your gas mileage will suffer equally. If you're concerned with gas mileage, check the threads or Google search for using acetone as a gas additive. 2-3 oz. per 10 gallons gasoline. Some reports of up to 35% increase in mileage.
