Noise while idlesterob 08-01-2005, 01:09 PM I just purchased a 2002 Explorer XLT with the V8 engine. There seems to be some type of rattling noise like something loose. It appears to be coming from the front passenger side near the engine. It disappears when you rev the engine or when you start to drive. However the noise gets louder when you engage the AC. At this point it is irrating. I have a 60 days warranty and would like some advice. Thanks, Steve exploded99 08-01-2005, 04:30 PM I just purchased a 2002 Explorer XLT with the V8 engine.
