rusted body mount t-bar crank

I am looking for some more imput on my rusted cab mounts. I'm not really wanting to weld new ones on but feel like that is my only option. I am wanting some imput on the thought of cutting down the old mount and bolting a lift block through the floor and mount on the chasse to get the ride hight right. any thoughts from any one would be appriciated. also has any one ever cranked there t-bars. how well did this work and have u had any probs? any help would be great. thanks nuckolls_7

Re: rusted body mount t-bar crank

If you don't do the body mounts they aren'e worth doing at all. Safety is the big issue here.

You can lift the front a bit with your torsion bars, but the front end geomotry will be wrong and you'll have a really hard ride.
They make nice kits that enable you to lift the front about 2" for just over 500 bux. these kits sometimes include springs to keep the rear the same height
