clutch problems

does anyone know any thing adout clutch woork. my truck has 186,000 miles on it and i dont think anything has been done with it. it sounds like my P. plate is about shot, it sounds like the plates are rattling together. my father told me it was my throw out barrings and to drive it till something goes wrong. could this be bad? if so whare should i look to get parts. this is my only truck so down time on the truck could only be for a weekend at the max.

Worst case senareo, you'll fry the fly wheel.

Personally I would get a clutch kit as soon as you can, and install it. Then you won't get stranded

If it's 2wd it's a pretty easy job
