fuel pump????

O.k. I know you guys have probably heard this question a hundred times. I thought I would just start from scratch. I have a 1998 S-10 ZR-2. Last weekend it showed the same symptoms everyone else has described. It was running fine. Shut it off went back to start it and it would turn over but not fire. After waiting awhile and turning it over a few more times it ran fine until a couple of days ago when the same thing happened. I took it to the shop to have them check out the fuel pump and they said that was fine. (which was good due to the price) Then on the way home it cut out on me a couple of times, but started right back up. Anyone have clues or where to start

Thanks

I changed the oil pressur sensor and the fuel pump i will see if that does the trick. Hopefully. I really don't want to spend the $500 on a fuel pump.
