95.5 Rodeo 4x4 lower ball joints

Anyone have any advice about replacing the lower ball joints on a 95.5 rodeo 4x4? I currently have the joint loose from the spindle and control arm but there isn't enough clearance between the spindle and the axel hub to pull the old ball joint out. I have released the tension on the torsion bar but still don't have enough room. Please don't tell me that I have to completely tear down the wheel hub to do this

Thanks,

Karlman
