i go to Advanced Autos to buy a new thermostat for my 1998 svt. and the guy tryed to tell me that it was $27.84. is that how much a thermostat should cost for an svt or was the guy talking out of is butt?

$27 sounds cheap to me. Cant hardly get any replacement parts for that little. Heck, even the drain bolt that goes into the oil pan is $13!
