I've had it tuned up 6,000 miles ago, changed the fuel filter last week and it still stalls without notice, it also revs unexpectedly and after stalling is often hard to restart. I can also smell feul sometimes. Anyone out there please help.
Thanks,
Peter

Check engine lights?

Nope, no lights. No codes to check just a worsening problem. Althought there is a fuel odor, I can't find any wet spots anywhere. Maybe I don't know where to look. Sadly my Jimmy has been nothing but trouble and the dealer sucks, so does GM, they don't stand behind their products, no wonder business is poor. This 800-GM-CARES line is a joke. I'm seriously seeing if I can find enough owners for a class-action-suite.
I can't thank you enough for trying to help. The dealer wants $85 just to look at it. I'm retired and living on a disability income and can't afford the $500-600 I've been told the dealer would inevitably charge. When I was a kid we used to call it the "$43.40 plus parts and labor" standard charge.
Thanks again,
Peter

Don't overfill your tank, only top it off to the nearest dollar after it clicks off.

Throttle position sensor maybe?

It's only a $20 part... could be causing your problems?

Check fuel pressure.

And DON'T start replacing a whole bunch of sensors without knowing the cause, it will just be a pure waste of money.
