Talking New PICS of my 99

I went with some chrome GM SS Wheels, shackles, bed caps, and new-style tails. What do you guys think? (Sorry for the big pics!)

Re: New PICS of my 99

I like it. I'm saving up for the bed caps, and front bumper, myself.

Good job.

I very much Concur!! I like the new tails the best. They make the whole back end look cleaner to me.

Thanks guys,

I've been nervous with every mod I put on, but I think they've all worked out pretty much for the better. I did make some mistakes....like chrome escy handles, the non-chromed SS wheels, etc...but live and learn!!

Now I really need to address my weak-as-hell 4.8. The truck is becoming all show and no go!!

Nineball,

I love your Cowl hood. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find it and did you have any fitment issues?

Watch out for the bed caps. Mine had a tendancy to not stay down....especially the rear wing. We ended up putting in some rivets on the inside of the tailgate to hold it down and keep things lined up with the tonneau cover. If I remember correctly, I got them from Street Scene.

Re: New PICS of my 99

my hood is a reflexxion domination hood. www.reflexxion.com Their web site kinda sucks, but it gives you good pictures. I bought mine off of ebay... but you can buty them from more reliable sources, the web site above will give you links, I think....

The hood fit great, all holes lined up, the gaps are even, and look good. It had all the factory bracing and holes in it, ect...

My favorite aspect about this particular cowl is the fact that it rounds off at the front. Instead of the more common type, starting at the lip of the hood, full width going all the way back....
