need help programing keyless entry '98 camry

Hi...I have a '98 camry that I've had for several years. I bought it used, but it is equiped with the keyless entry. I did not received the remote when I bought it. I have just purchased a remote but cannot program it even though I do have the instructions in the manual that came with the car.
Could anyone please help me with instructions on how to program this.
Thanks so much!

If I may add to my own post.....the instructions in my manual talk about a 'CPU' box that I need to find and press a button on. But I understand there are instructions that include insertion of the ignition key and something to do with locking and unlocking the doors. I have found post similar to this for other car years, but not for the 98 camry. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me.

Re: need help programing keyless entry '98 camry

Hi....I'm really new to this and haven't seen where to find the FAQ. However, I've done searches and gone through everything I can find. And, as I mentioned, I've found instructions for several others, but not for the 98 camry. Could you help?
Thanks!
