Well yesterday I was on my way to pick up my little bro from the base in Meaford, a small litle city 4 hours drive north. On the way there I happen to see a lambo countash, a ferrari testerossa, an 90's ferrari f50, a nice silver viper and a bently of some sort.
Anyways on the way back home I was driving a little quick, I know I shouldn't have been especially with the recent ticket, but I was eager to get home. So night was falling and all the headlights were turning one, driving was becoming a bore with these people, who does the limit honestly?
So after a while I see some blueish headlights swerving aound traffic, at the same time another set of blueish headlights start to cut around traffic too. Man was that a good pick-me-up. Once these headlights get closer I can tell the first ones belonging to a SLK and the other to a bimmer, but what? Well curiosity got th best of me so I let the SLK and the bimmer get in front of me and as soon as the bimmer does I swing around and see the legendary ///M3 badge...*commence drooling*
Well this would be a great time to challenge the both to see how well I do, but unfortunantly I had my my mom, my 2 brothers and army luggage that were weighing down my car. I asked them if they wanted tot ake a stroll on the side of the highway for 30 mins or so while I take care of something, my mom looked at me weird and proceeded to smack me upside the head, that was a no go.
Well I wasn't gonna let this go past me so I downshift to 4th, take it to 6krpm, hit 5th and these buggers are still a good distance in front of me. Bam everyone hits the brakes, you can tell because the whole front of me turned red with brake lights which could mean one thing...copper. So everyone takes it to 100 and gives me the cance to play catch up, copper takes an exit and almost immediatly both cars jump it...as do i. I finally get it to 140 and gain some ground, they let me pass and I take advantage and keep going ahead, only to slow down when those headlights started to faint, but then theyd reappear and I'd hear them fly by me and proceed to stay the limit so I can catch up.
This goes on for a good 10-15 mins or so and then they take they're exit, but I give them the thumbs up for keeping me awake and they do the same. My mom catches me giving thumbs up, looks at me weird and smacks me again.

Cliff notes:
-saw some nice cars
-had some fun with SLK and M3
-got home quicker than expected
-went to bed early because of migrane

Well when you're in the 6, going 140km/h (90mp/h) doesn't seem fast at all.

Actually, 95 mph isn't fast at all to me. 95 feels like goin 45 mph. I'm just too used to it and my car handles it well, for a Saturn. Too bad the tranny doesn't allow me to go higher than 100.

maybe its because i live in virginia... the worst place to own a car. 20 over and it's reckless driving.

By now I'm sure you've all read the thread about Hypsi87...140 with your mom and 2 brothers in the car? That's nuts man.

Sorry, I don't mean to preach, but everyone who crashes thinks they're in control right up to the point where things to irreversibly wrong (no disrespect to Hypsi87, I've done irresponsible things too, we all have).

But nice kills, I wouldn't expect a Mazda to kill an SLK and an M3.

90mp/h is somewhat normal on the highways here.
I didn't take either car since they weren't racing, just speeding and fooling around in traffic.

Yeah i was thinking 140mph too and was enjoyin the smacks to the head as well. My mom trusts me at 100mph, but I wouldn't take it to 140mph with her in the car. That would probably give her a heart attack or something. Regardless, sounds like you had a good time, and saw a hell of alot of nice cars. Good story.

no way in hell would I dare going over 100mph with ANY passengers. I don't mind putting my life in danger every now and again, I wouldn't putting anyone elses.

No I still live in London, Ontario but willing to take the trip down to michigan for the meet if anyone decides to go. And as for that se-r comment, what colour is it so I know which one "not" to steal :)

So, did you kill the M3 and SLK, or did they blow past you, leave you behind, and let you catch up? It wasn't made quite clear how that all turned out.

Even so, I hardly go more than 85 mph with friends in the car unless they are willing. Family is a whole different deal with me, and the speed limit is where it's at when with family.
