Will a '99 L35 from an S-10 fit in a '94 astro Van?

Hi I just seized my engine (L-35, Vin "W") in my '94 Astro Van- got 320,000 miles on it! Now I have access to a '99 L-35 "W" engine from an S-10 for $500 with only 72,000 miles on it- I know the obvious- the '99 is OBDII- but I plan on swapping intakes, and all sensors- will the '99 long block fit my '94 chasis-are there other concerns. Also I have been told to take it out by dropping the cradle and steering linkage and brake lines- instead of removing the front end radiator etc.. is this the better way? has anyone done this? I appreciate your time and thanks for the responses ahead of time....
