i can not locate the flasher for my 1999 ford contour. the signal light and the hazard lights stop working. i was told that i needed a new flasher. i have looed everywhere for that thing. i know that it is suppose to be located under the dash board but where. can someone please, please help me? that you and bless you!

I have a 1999 Ford Contour and I recently replaced my flasher. It was on my steering column. I remove the lower part of the column, very easy, and my flasher was plugged into my switch. It did not take any time at all!
