Ode to tuners and muscle heads
An ode for the thoughts that have been in my mind.
To everyone who has spent nights in bed thinking about what they're going to set their rocker arm to valve clearence at or what pistons they need to run with that compression ratio and what to set the timing at. To everyone who ever thought, "13.2...that's to damn slow...", to anyone who walks around their job calculating bore and stroke numbers for their engines. Calculating combustion chamber volume for CR while getting yelled at by their boss and not hearing them yelling. To anyone who's biggest decision of the day is what tires to get with those rims that will look perfect and still get you adequate performance. To anyone who loves the smell of nitro-methane in the morning(guilty). To anyone who can honestly say that they love the sound of an American V8 and then get goosebumps at the sound of a turbocharged 4/6 cylinder. To anyone who has ever said "You're going to dinner? Ok, well i'm gonna stay and make as many more passes as i can before the track closes.." To anyone who can walk up to an engine, look at it, and know by the sound and size how much power it's probably making and what internals it's got. To anyone who's ever turned their nose at someone telling them their car isn't worth the $$ to mod it. To anyone who's conversation starter at parties is "I was in the _____ that pulled up out there." To the fans that go to any automotive track or auto related event. To the people who know what gear backlash is and what to do about it. To the broke ass people that have bigger ambitions than pocket books(guilty again). To my dad for giving me the advice "A car is never finished." To all the dads who raised us at the track. To the old timers who made it all possible, to the new age tuners who kept the tradition alive. To 93 Octane...cause without it, i wouldn't be driving my car much(or my dads). To everyone who's willing to help out a newbie learn about cars and not be a dick about it. To anyone who actually knows how to work on their car. And most importantly, to all the people who are willing to share their knowledge and help you as much as they can. TO AF!
And to anything automotive related that's great that i left out.

Re: Ode to tuners and muscle heads
you need to know the volume of your combustion chamber to calculate CR....
lol

Re: Ode to tuners and muscle heads

Edit: I hate math, probably why i didn't pay much attention to that part of my engine class(c.c./c.i. and what not)...hehe

Re: Ode to tuners and muscle heads
lol, you need to know bore stroke AND combustion chamber volume (and any funky displacement because of a funky shaped piston head such as indents for valve clearance...lol. but we wont get into that
i was just kidding though. you didnt have to change it. it was good to begin with
