i have a 97 rodeo 3.2 v6, manual transmission, when i shift and accelerate my dash lights come on and my blower fan for a/c and heat shuts off. as the car accelerates the lights go off and the fan comes on. i noticed that this does not happen in the winter, only when temperatures are high or if the car idles and is really heated up. it seems as though the car thinks the engine is stalling. it got to the point last year that is happen enough where the relay (found under the hood in the main fuse box) for the heater went up and the lights just stayed on and fan did not work. that was replaced and it continued to work again until warmer weather. i thought maybe an electrical short but it seems to be linked to the clutch or accelerating. if i initially shift with the rpm's higher, say 2,000 or so, the problem is far less present. can anyone help me with this issue?
