grand prix gt vs crx
last nite a white crx with a flame job pulled up next to me. revved his tried to show off his fart cannon exhaust. i smiled and laughed, turned off traction control, and said lets go. he was by himself, me w/ a full tank of gas and 4 other people in the car. light turned green we both lite em up and away we went. thru first gear we were even, he shifted and i could hear the turbo. from then on i just pulled away. he must have messed up. it is a stop light leading out of town and about 1/2 mile down highway is a taco bell. i turn in and he comes flying in the parking lot. pulls up next to me and says f*** you ill smoke you in my dads car anyday. i said thats nice. well anyways my friends in the back seat said i had him by at least 1 set of power poles. i dont know how far apart the poles are but they arent very close. oh by the way i have a fenderwell intake, pcm, dynomax superturbos, functional ram air hood (pfyc.com) sd style, and u bend delete NOT supercharged.
im only 19 but why is it that kids in there foreign cars get all defensive when they lose?

Re: grand prix gt vs crx
I don't know if this actually happened or not but the newer grand prix GTs are decently quick, more than enough to beat a stock crx. I have a friend with one of them and I have driven it. Its not slow at all. It shifts nice and firm and has decent power.

I think the story is real. Pontiacs just as Buicks have 3.8L V6. These engines are very reliable and fast too. Even without the supercharger it's pretty quick. 200 HP is decent enough to kill many on road cars.
And if there is a supercharger it's a bomb, you can dissapoint alot more cars, even Lexus, BMW and Mercedes.

PCM? Did you replace it or have it reprogrammed or what? You have a functional ram air hood and yet you have a fenderwell intake? How can you have a functional ram air hood without ram air, or do you just mean that it lets air in? I dont think your car would go fast enough for the ram air to be functional anyway. Not calling BS yet, i just want explanations.

Re: grand prix gt vs crx
Sorry but the 200 hp 3800 is ok, but it by no means fast. 3600 lb's is alot to move around. 200 hp would be enough to kill alot of cars. If you weight under 3000 lb's. The fact is though grandprix's are tanks.

I have a 1998 Buick Park Avenue Ultra with 3.8L V6 Supercharged 240HP and this thing is fast. 0-60 in 7.8 sec. Many cars can't compete with me either from start or a roll. And this car is 3974lb.
