I have a 98 sebring conv. I have been seeing a problem with my gas guage lately. In the past month i have noticed that I am running out of gas before the needle even gets to E. But now it is even worse that that I have ran out of gas twice now and the needle was just past the 1/4 mark. Now I figure that I will prob have to change the fuel level sending unit but I can't find just that part. everthing is saying that I have to change the whole fuel pump and that is like $200 just for the part. I was wondering if anyone had any help for me on is there a cheaper way to fix this problem or is there a way I can just change the fuel level sending unit without replacing the fuel pump...
