Lightbulb Reverse lights

hello, i have a chevy s-10 an my reverse lights stay on for some reason and they don't turn off can any help me out with this one

There is a switch (usually on the transmission) with 2 wires going to it.

Those switches go bad from time to time.

If you tell us what year of truck, and if it's a standard or automatic someone can probably tell you exactly where the switch is

It's about a 15 min job, and you can do it easily.
Probably less than $20.00 for the part too.

i forgot to add some other stuff too it. it 1989 chevy s10 pick up automatic also when it is in park it starts to roll is the transmission messing up or what

Your shift linkage might need adjusting to cure the rolling problem. But there is a small chance that it's more than that.

I believe that my transmission is the same as yours, and I really should try crawling under my Blazer soon. If I have a chance to tomorrow I'll crawl uder and snap a photo or 2 to show you where the light switch is.
Plus I have to adjust the shifter on mine too, so I'll either be able to tell you how to do it or send in photo's

I hope that you can wait a day or 2 until I have the chance.
