I have a 96 Regal 3800 whatever its called
2 weeks ago i was driving through a dark tunnel in the middle of the day and realized my once always lit up dashboard was competely dark.. also the heat/ac panel in the center, the lights behind the icons are out, but not the lights that go on when you press heat or a/c or whatever. (its not the dimmer being too dim, thats the first thing i checked. )
i had my car minded friend check my fuses, all are good. he did notice my front driver side blinker is burnt out but thats it. i havent replaced that yet because im too lazy and im waiting to get a ticket. then i'll change it.
does anyone know why the dash lights are out, i need something to tell my mechanic when i bring it in so he doesnt charge me 5 hours of labor for trying to find the problem.. (im a girl i get screwed a lot at the mechanic)

you probably have a loose wire or harness that controls that, SOMEWHERE in the dash, sorry hope that helps Good Luck!
