Me and my friend were coming back from the local bowling alley when we decided to go check out the local races....My car is a 1994 Toyota Camry (4 banger, auto) that hasen't gotten the proper attention under the hood...his car is a 03 Nissan Altima 2.5, auto (this car is quick :smile: ). I always told him i've wanted to race from a roll, so we jumped on the highway(no traffic at 11:30pm )....since it was my first highway race i was nervous and i didn't get into my powerband(around 3 rpms)....at about 60 i honked it down...1..2..3...we both went WOT and he didn't go anywhere!!! I was suprised, i held him from about 60-70 then he started pulling, By 90 he was only 2-3 cars away....then i slowed down because i remembered i had someone following me to get to the local races...now i have some inspiration to get the cam to go faster.

for the lazy readers: raced a 03 altima 2.5 from a 60 roll...60-70 held him and then lost.

well nice death? what can i say.....hmmmmm well you both were probrably out of the powerband from 60-70mph so thats when you both reached it, he pulled 2-3 with only a 20mph increment. you didn't exactly hang with him buddy. but nice death anyawys.

so now does this mean that ur camry is almost as quick as an altima, or that the altima is almost as slow as a camry? im not mockin u in the toyota at all. im sayin that if i had that altima and thought it was quick id be pretty upset about the whole thing. if ur gonna race ur car u better be able to destroy a 4 cylinder camry from any gear.

that camry has gotta be pretty damn weak, cause a my family had the 2.5 altima as a rental for a week and that car was slow. I think the 0-60 is mid 8's. Good attempt tho, and good luck with the future stuff

well keep in mind i drive a 11yr old car...but then again anything quicker that the cam is quick 2 me lol....yea i've seen the 3.5's run, but i didn't kno they can take a wrx with slight mods.
