This just started the other day. Say I am at a Stop light turning left. When I start to accelerate into the turn I hear a whining noise coming from the front end and it gets louder as i accelerate. When I straighten the wheels out the noise seems to go away. So it only happens when I'm turning left or right. Any ideas on what it may be?

Most people who've checked their cars out with problems like this have had CV-Joints going bad. Fairly common problem with wear and tear. Year and Milage of your car?
did u look into the power steering system? fluid level? sounds like u could be low, and the g-force of a turn makes it run a little dry, causing the whine
I just found the power steering fluid cap (wow what a tight squeeze) i checked cold and it was low. I going to add some and see if the problem is fixed. thanks
