Stratus motor in a neonStealth_SUX_ 07-11-2005, 05:21 PM Ok I know u can put the 2.4 liter motor into a neon, how about the 2.7 v6. Its pretty cheap and has 200hp, it is not an inline v6, what i would worry about is the width of the motor. what do u think, this is just a idea. Website below to look at motor http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7984936832&category=33615&sspagename=WDVW wafrederick 07-11-2005, 07:49 PM Do not put the 2.7 in it and it will not fit.THE 2.7 IS A PIECE OF JUNK! das2123 07-11-2005, 11:32 PM Ok I know u can put the 2.4 liter motor into a neon, how about the 2.7 v6. Website below to look at motorYou can make it fit with enough money, but time and cost will be greater than you would probably like. It won't drop in near as easy as the 2.4. I have seen a neon with a V8 in it, so just about anything is possible. cficare68 07-12-2005, 01:53 AM Any things is possible with enough money. But I agreed if you want to drop a 6 cyclinder strauts motor in it. Put an 6G72 (R/T) motor in it. That is a mits motor and it is alot more reliable motor than the 2.7. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
