British ClassicAdamsindrey 07-11-2005, 05:09 AM Hi, this is my 1977 Triumph Dolomite 1850HL Has a 91 HP 1850cc / 113Cu I believe engine Rear wheel drive, luxurious interior and such style! What do you guys think? http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5d922b3127cce92d3968a7ffa00000016108AbNW7hu4ZtQ http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5d924b3127cce92db23de6cd600000016108AbNW7hu4ZtQ http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5d924b3127cce92db23ddede500000016108AbNW7hu4ZtQ And yes it was made by the same people who made the Triumph Spitfire (small convertible) that was imported to the US. Adam tigermiata 07-12-2005, 09:02 AM Is this the "Dolomite Sprint" or a different version? Sorry, we DON'T see these in the US, only read about them in magazines from time to time. IIRC the interiors are very nice. I'm not a fan of 4-door cars but these are on the list of cars I find interesting despite the number of doors, along with the Riley One Point Five, the Rover P5 and others. And are they all yellow? Adamsindrey 07-12-2005, 10:38 AM no there not all yellow. The first few (1500 or so) were in Mimosa yellow, mines Inca yellow. You could only get them in Mimosa yellow if you were in australia though. Mines the 1850hl which has an 1850cc engine with 91 hp. The sprints got alloy wheels, vinyl roof, and a 2 litre 127hp engine. Not bad for a 30 year old 4 pot engine :D SG Wolf 222 06-07-2007, 08:23 AM my two faverite British Classics are the 1965 Aston Martin DB5 with its 4.0 L 6 cylinder engine pumping out 282bhp (210kw) top speeds of 143mph(230km/h) 0-60(92km/h) in 8.1 seconds. beautiful car http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l245/SGWolf222/800px-AMDB5VC.jpg and the 1967 AC Cobra 427SC with its 427 engine V8 pumping 425 Bhp tops speeds of 164 mph(265km/h) http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l245/SGWolf222/68_ford_cobra_dc_03_0001.jpg mk14dr 10-08-2007, 06:40 PM Lovely looking motor mate:smokin: Loving both your dollys'. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
