Angry Help With A 95 Grand Am

Hi,
Me and my husband just aquired a 1995 Grand Am with a 2.3 Liter Quad Four Engine. It was seriously doggy and would die out when we first got it. Had coils put in, worked for a day then started dying out again especially taking off from a stop and would act like it was going to while going down the road intermittently. Well then we put in the module that goes in by the coils, seemed a little better but started again within a day. So then we put in a Crank position sensor, and a fuel filter, and a cal converter. Well low and behold it is still doing it. I read in the forum somewhere that if it is fine during accleration the injectors should be ok. Oh and we have put the top of the line injector cleaner in it too. Any suggestions? This car is in beautiful shape, but I am starting to wonder if I ever want another Grand Am. Thanks for any help or hints ahead of time anyone can give us!!

Well, IAC, TPS, MAF sensors can be cleaned up, that might straighten out the stumbling.

Check your air filter and o2 sensor as well, the o2 sensor might be giving a false reading (mine did, had some strange things happen right before it failed...), and if your air filter is very dirty it will not allow enough air into the intake, and it won't go anywhere fast...
