Right now I have Kelly Safari AWR 235 75 15. I was wondering what other size tires can go on my truck. I want bigger tires but dont really understand the numbers besides the the 15 is a the rim. My friend has a 96 taco too, and has 31 inch sport kings with a 15 inch rim too. Thanks, really need help.

This link will help you understand what the numbers mean. For your Taco you can run 31's with out any rubbing, 32's with minor trimming.

I have a 95.5 Tacoma running BFG All Terrain 32x11.5.15's These are sweet tires for on/offroad with great traction and the added bonus that the rims are set back inside the bead to prevent scratches/damage to the rims from curbing, rocks, trees etc. They rubbed slightly with my sagging stock suspension, but with new shocks and a daystar levelling spacer up fron they dont rub at all.

Yes but most likely his truck came with 235s stock, so his gears would not be sufficient for 31x10s. His truck will become a compete turd if he puts that size on. I guess what I'm trying to say is you could fit 31s on there no problem but be prepared to suffer a power loss unless you regear.
