Can't keep drive belts on 97 Ram!

Hey all,
I have a 97 Ram. I go through a drive belt every three months. It start squeeling on damp days and eventually squeals at all times. I'll get tired of it and change it. I am using Gates belts. I have installed a new tensioner and new water pump and see no visible pully problems. Any advice out there???

Try a different brand of belt.

I had the same problem with dayco belts but it was every six months I tried a gatorback from goodyear bought at autozone and haven`t had any problems since. I went through the same things changing tensioners and pulleys, had this belt for 2 years now with no problems, even my mopar belt lasted a long time

Gatorbacks are the best. They are also warnetyed for life.
