starting problems after rain

I recently bought a 1995 vw cabrio. It runs great but occassionally it seems to have trouble starting if it has been raining. Can humidity be effecting it?

veedubmechanic VDUBMAN AF Moderator Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 2,219	Replace your ignition coil (black square thing on the firewall with a spark plug wire attached to top). Common failure.
