Question Largest tires that fit

I have the stock 15 inch wheels with the 205/75 tires. I would like to put some larger meatier tires. Does anyone know how big I can go before I run into turing and suspension compression problems. Phu, I'm sure you've ran into this problem .

Oh yeah, and how would I adjust the spedometer if I had a larger tire radius?

I actually didn't have much of a problem. We looked up the specs on an 18" rim and carried it over to a 20. I measured the OEM tire diameter and found the best performing tire that matched the diameter. Turns out the Hankook Ventus Sport K104 (245/235/ZR20 95Y) is only 1/4" smaller in circumferance than OEM. Since I matched the tire sizes I didn't need to adjust the speedo/odo.

When going to a larger tire you need to be more careful of the width than the height. with the 245's I've got about an inch clearance between the 'well and the tread when turning. The brakes, suspension, etc were not a problem. If I were to go to a wider rim 8.5 or larger then I might start having problems.

As far as adjusting the speedo/odo, find a shop that does it. That's the only way to do it (reliabley).

Here's the pics I'd taken to help someone else out: http://www.trackitara.com/clearance
