Just pulled the heater Core NASTY JOB

I just pulled the heater core to do maintenance on the evaporater. Well I had to take EVERYTHING out of the passenger compartment to do it. Steering column, the works. I have intimate knowledge of the dos and don't of that trick. I had no flow from my cooling, and there was this smell. The evap core was completely accluded with blackish mold and tree debris. It is totally clean now. Just like new!! I used isopropyl alcohol as the antibiotic and a garden hose as the scrubber. I did not want to use any oxidizers with that thin aluminum core.

Anyway big job to clean a core. It was impossible otherwise.
