Hey everybody. I have a 5.2 with the 249 transfer case. Does anybody have any tips on removing the rounded off bolts on the front driveline so I can get the transfer case off?

I asume you are talking about the transfercase to Trans bolts. The best thing I can Think of is to pick up a set of bolt and nut adapters that are used for rounded bolts and nuts.Craftsmen and Snapon both carry them They work wonders. You might try pounding the next side socket or maybe a star socket on the bolt I have had success using them before.

Thanks my friend, I'll check out good old Craftsmen and see what I find. This is all that's holding me up from replacing that damn transfer case.
