1995 neon sport car wont start

Hey everyone. Sorry I dont have time to search and I hope this isnt a repost or anything but my g/f's 95 dodge neon sport wont start. She has been away as a camp counsler and the car has sat for a week. She didn't know if battery was dead so they tried jumping it and the alarm went off for awhile. they couldn't get it too stop so just tried starting the car and nothing...no clicks, no attemt to turn over....nothing. I tried the dealership they said the computer might have shut off and is off til they reset it. Anybody have any other ideas, suggestions, or similar problems. I gotta go to work now and deal with this later, so any feedback and fast feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pull the battery and have it checked. Also check the terminals and posts and make sure they are real clean and shiny. The neon is real sensitive to corrosion.
