I like the STS kits. The people who object always talk abut the heat being to low back there, or the tubing being to long, or the gas tank being so close. If they would read the website, all of those issues are moot.
Now you can still not like it being close to the tank, no big deal. But they show that these things aren't truly an issue.
I would go STS if I went turbo, but I think you should get new cats when you put them on, thats the only true issue I think is the cats coming apart.

if someones worried about the gas tank being so close to something hot.....your mufflers right there so its not much different, and i bet theres lots of air to cool things down under there, but what i would wonder about is water, can water get in the intake? since its so close to the ground????

you could eliminate the need for an intercooler since the pipe has to go so far?couldnt you as long as you kept the boost fairly low that is 8psi or so. i might have read that somwhere but i dont remember
