RUNNING!!! and u thought it would never happen...
this is the video of when we first started the car, i got the camera after it fired so u don't see it actually starting... that's my dad in the driver's seat
http://home.comcast.net/~genopsyde91/first_start.MPG
second one is showing how my speedo is messed up, for some reason it is maxing out even tho i'm going only like 20mph... if u just release the clutch in first gear it says its goin 50mph
http://home.comcast.net/~genopsyde91/speedo_tacking.MPG
third one is my dad doin a quick driveby, he goes from a stop and tops out first gear then backs off. u can see that the driverside brake light isn't working...
http://home.comcast.net/~genopsyde91...in_driveby.MPG
Thanks to Geno for hosting my videos

hey blownalcoholboy, my AOL sux i can't send them in email... but if u have AIM i can do a file transfer on that to u. just post ur AIM.
89, my dad isn't afraid of the gaspedal lol, unfortunately i adjusted my shifter wrong so as of right now i can't get the tranny into 2,4, or 6... and u should start wrenching
thanks cuda, i plan on seeing how i compare to some supercharged cobras... i think i can take them in all honesty...
after adjusting the shifter, i need to work on my taillights since as u can see two of them arent coming on... does anyone know what i can do about my speedo? it maxes out even tho i'm only going about 20 mph... i think the speed sender in the tranny may be bad... any other ideas?
thanks for the complements guys, i'm very happy to have her purring again

Hey man, i'm happy you finally got it running. Too bad i can't watch any of the vids, the wyse terminals at work suck ass. They restrict pretty much everything. Good thing i can still come on here and chat with yall. That combo you got there is holy.

It was kinda the other way around for me. Wasn't really around me pops for the majority of my life, and when i finally met him, i really could careless about cars. He is a mechanic and grandpa, his pops, was a dragster. I was a late bloomer for the wrneching under the hood, just started about 2 years ago, and glad i finally joined the band wagon. kinda sucks now, becuase my pops just had an an-yer-ris-sym and really can't do much like he was able to do before, he can still guide me though. My grandfathers drag car is still in the garage, 403 with 400+ horses and streetable, wish i could put the damn thing into my car, but the crank and bearing are f*****, but, my pops is in to cars.

I never really got into Ricers, even though I played games like NFS and stuff, they just didnt interest me as much because of the way they sounded...kinda weak.
