i was wondering if i need any aditional part to swap an engine from a 1993 2door to a 1995 4 door

yes the 4 door is a 16 valve and most 2 doors are 8 valves

swap motor, got it running ok ? timing problems can't get it dialed in and now got a bad feeling with this knocking noise??????? it sounds like it did when it blew the first time....... what did we do wrong?

, it depends on what year it is 89-95 trackers had 8v, 96-98 had 16v, 89-95 sidekicks had both depending on model

it is 93 and could the timing be out too much to make it knock or did i blow out the bottom inn out??
