I just got a 1988 Stanza with a 2.0 4 cyl, drove it around 100 miles and the lights started dimming out and it went dead. Put a new battery and had the alternator checked which checked good. Problem is when it went dead the transmission quit working. Now the car starts but it will not go into ANY gear, it will go into park and lock in park but will not go into rev/drive, it seems as if its in neutral the whole time. Fluid check says its full and looks clean. Is there anything electrical that could cause this? ANYONE PLEASE, also if you know the type of trans I would appreciate any info. THANKS ALL!!
