Air Ride QuestionsCashMoneyInd 06-19-2005, 10:46 AM I know this is a honda forum but there are some smart people on here so.... I recently bought a 1996 dodge neon. I am planning on doing an air suspension install, but have a couple questions. I know that I need a compressor, air tank, valves, air lines, fittings, the air bags themselves, mounting brackets and switches to control it. Is there anything I am missing? I may buy the complete kit instead just to avoid hassle, but this way so far is cheaper. Second, do they make any kits FOR the neon? I looked and looked but couldn't find any. If I can't find a kit, what car should I buy it for, and then how would I go about retrofitting it? Lastly, are there any tidbits of information that aid in installation, maintenance, or usage of an air suspension? Thanx in advance for all answers... Also, what is a pressure switch? Is it what tells the compressor to stop pumping air so the bags dont pop? Sorry posted it in the wrong forum Electronix_etc 07-07-2005, 12:48 PM i cant rally answer them all but i can answer the last one. A pressure switch is sort of like a blow off valve inside a turbo kit. When the pressure inside the air tank builds up to its limit, the pressure switch shuts the compressor off.
